OM SVĀSTI.
ཀ་དག་གདོད་མའི་རང་རྩལ་འགག་མེད་དུ། །
KA-DAK DÖ-MAY RANG-TSËL GAK-MEY DU
Spontaneously established within the unimpeded natural energy of primordial
original purity,
ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རོལ་སྐུའི་མཛེས་པ་འབུམ་སྤྲོ་བའི། །
LHÜN-DRUP RÖL-KUI DZEY-PA BUM TRO-WAY
Ornamented by the hundred thousand beauties of the spontaneously
established forms of display,
རྩ་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་ཀྱིས། །
TSA SUM GYËL-WA GYA-TSOI T’RIN-LAY KYII
Are the ocean of the Three Roots and Victorious Ones: Through
their awakened activity,
དགེ་ལེགས་བྱིན་ཆེན་ཕོབས་པའི་ཤིས་པ་སྩོལ། །
GÉ-LEK JIN-CHHEN P’OP-PAY SHIY-PA TSÖL
May the auspiciousness of the
transference of the great blessing of virtue and goodness be bestowed.
འཇམ་དཔལ༵་དགྱེས༵་པ༵འི་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་ནུས་པའི་སྟོབས། །

KHYEN TSÉ NÜ-PAY TOP
The power of the wisdom, love, and ability of the Pleasing Glorious [Pelgyeypa] Gentle One
མི་འགྱུར་རྡོ༵་རྗེ༵འི་གསང་གསུམ་གཤིས་སུ་བརྟན། །
MIN-GYUR DOR-JÉY SANG
SUM SHIY SU TEN
Is stable as the auspiciousness of the Three Secrets of the
Immutable Vajra [Dorjé],
ཉམ་ཐག་འགྲོ་བ་འདྲེན་པའི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཅན། །
NYAM-T’AK DRO-WA DREN-PAY T’UK-JÉ-CHEN
One with great compassion which guides downtrodden transient
beings:
མཁན་ཆེན་བླ་མའི་ཞབས་པད་བརྟན་གྱུར་ཅིག །
KHEN-CHHEN LA-MAY ZHAP PAY TEN GYUR CHIK
May the lotus feet of Khenchen Lama remain firm.
སྐྱབས་གནས་རྒྱལ་བའི་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་སྨོན་ལམ་དང་། །
KYAP-NAY GYËL-WAY T’UK-KYEY MÖN-LAM DANG
By the bodhichitta aspirations of the source of refuge, the
Victorious Ones,
མཐུ་ལྡན་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་སྲུང་མའི་དམ་ཚིག་གིས། །
T’U-DEN CHHÖ-KYONG S’UNG-MAY DAM-TS’IK GII
And the sacred bonds of the mighty Dharma Protectors and
Guardians,
གཡོ་མེད་ལྷག་བསམ་བདེན་པའི་རེ་སྨོན་ལས། །
YO-MEY LHAK-SAM DEN-PAY RÉ-MÖN LAY
Out of true hopes and aspirations of unchanging altruism,
བསྟན་འགྲོའི་ཕན་བདེ་ཡུན་རིང་སྐྱོང་གྱུར་ཅིག །
TEN-DROI P’EN-DÉ YÜN-RING KYONG GYUR CHIK
ཅེས་པ་འདི་ནི་མཁན་ཆེན་བླ་མ་དཔལ་དགྱེས་པ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཞབས་བརྟན་སྨོན་ཚིག་ཅིག་འབྲི་དགོས་ཞེས། ༧ལམ་མཁྱེན་རྒྱལ་པོ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཞལ་སྔ་ནས་དང་།དད་དམ་དགེ་བ་སེར་སྐྱ་དུ་མ་ཞིག་ནས་བསྐུལ་ངོར། ཤྰཀྱའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་བསྟན་འཛིན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ནས། རབ་བྱུང་བཅུ་བདུན་པའི་ཟླ༦་ཚེས་༡༠་ཕྱི་ལོ་༢༠༠༡་ཟླ་༨་ ཚེས་༡༤ ཉིན་དྷ་རམ་ས་ལ་ཐེག་ཆེན་ཆོས་གླིང་དུ་བྲིས་པ་དགེ་ལེགས་འཕེལ། ། ། །
Thus, in
response to the request directly from ༧ His
Eminence Lamchen Gyalpo Rinpoche, who said “a long-life prayer must be written
for Khenchen Lama Pelgyeypa Dorjé”, and a great number of faithful, sublime, and virtuous
monastics and laypeople, the fully-ordained monk of Shākyamuni [Buddha], Tenzin
Gyatso, wrote this on the 10th day of the 6th month of
the seventeenth Rabjung [sixty-year cycle of the Tibetan calendar system], the
14th day of the 8th month of the foreign year 2001
[August 14th, 2001], at Thekchen Chöling[Main Temple] in Dharamsala
-- May virtue and goodness increase!
Translated from the Tibetan by Erick Tsiknopoulos [Shérab
Zangpo], in McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala, India, close to Thekchen Chöling, during
the early part of January, 2014. Heartfelt thanks to Gen Lobzang Gyamtso of
Esukhia Nangten Sizhu Khang and Drépung College, who provided the indispensable
explanation and commentary for the text. By the positive karmic potential of
