༄༅། །གཡང་འགུགས་ལྷ་རྫས་ལྕགས་ཀྱུ་བཞུགས། །
Summoning the Spirit of Abundance
The Hook of Divine Substance

ཧཱུྃ། དེ་རིང་གཟའ་སྐར་ཚེས་བཟང་ལ། །
hung, dering zakar tsé zang la
Hung! Today, when the stars and planets are auspiciously aligned,
ཕྱྭ་ཆ་གཡང་གི་རྫས་བཀྲམ་སྟེ། །
cha cha yang gi dzé tram té
The materials for attracting prosperity and good fortune are all laid out.
ཕྱྭ་གཡང་འགུགས་པའི་ལས་བྱེད་ན། །
cha yangguk pé lejé na
As we perform this practice for summoning the spirit of abundance and prosperity,
དགོངས་སུ་གསོལ་ལོ་ལྷ་མགོན་ཚོགས། །
gong su sollo lha gön tsok
Turn your attention towards us, all you deities and protectors!
དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་གྱི་བདེན་པ་དང། །
könchok sum gyi denpa dang
Through the truth of the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha,
རྩ་གསུམ་སྲུང་མའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཀྱིས། །
tsa sum sungmé jinlab kyi
And the blessings of the gurus, devas, dakinis, and guardians,
མཐོན་པོའི་མཐོ་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
tönpö to yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of high status possessed by all the influential!
ཆེན་པོའི་ཆེ་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
chenpö ché yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of greatness possessed by all the prominent!
དར་བོའི་དར་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
darwö dar yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of vigour possessed by all the youthful!
བཙན་པོའི་བཙན་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
tsenpö tsen yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of potency possessed by all the powerful!
ཕྱུག་པོའི་ཕྱུག་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
chukpö chuk yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of wealth possessed by all the prosperous!
འཕེན་པོའི་འཕེན་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
penpö pen yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of allure possessed by all the charismatic!
མཁས་པའི་མཁས་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
khepé khé yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of wisdom possessed by all the learned!
བཙུན་པའི་བཙུན་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
tsünpé tsün yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of discipline possessed by all the ethical!
གྲུབ་པའི་གྲུབ་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
drubpé drub yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of attainment possessed by all the accomplished!
བདེ་བའི་བདེ་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
dewé dé yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of wellbeing possessed by all the blissful!
སྐྱིད་པའི་སྐྱིད་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
kyipé kyi yang né dir khuk
We summon now spirit of happiness possessed by all the joyous!
བཟང་བའི་བཟང་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
zangwé zang yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of excellence possessed by all the good!
དཔའ་བའི་དཔའ་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
pawé pa yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of courage possessed by all the brave!
མཛེས་པའི་མཛེས་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
dzepé dzé yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of attraction possessed by all the beautiful!
མཐུན་པའི་མཐུན་གཡང་གནས་འདིར་ཁུག །
tünpé tün yang né dir khuk
We summon now the spirit of agreement possessed by all in harmony!
ཕྱོགས་ལས་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་ཕྱྭ་གཡང་ཁུག །
chok lé namgyal cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance for perfect victory and success!
བསམ་དོན་འགྲུབ་པའི་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
samdön drubpé cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance for accomplishing all our aims!
འདོད་དགུ་འཕེལ་བའི་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
dögu pelwé cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance for increasing all that is desirable!
ཚེ་རིང་ནད་མེད་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
tsering nemé cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance for longevity and perfect health!
མངའ་ཐང་སྙན་གྲགས་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
ngatang nyendrak cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance for power and renown!
བཀྲ་ཤིས་དགེ་མཚན་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
tashi getsen cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance for auspiciousness and positivity!
རི་བོའི་རྩེ་ནས་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
riwö tsé né cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance from the peaks of mountains!
རྒྱ་མཚོའི་གཏིང་ནས་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
gyatsö tingné cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance from the oceans' depths!
ཕྱོགས་བཞིའི་གནས་ནས་ཕྱྭ་ཡང་ཁུག །
chok shyi né né cha yang khuk
We summon prosperity and abundance from the lands in all directions!
ལྷ་གཡང་སྤྲིན་བཞིན་ཐིབས་སེ་ཐིབ། །
lha yang trin shyin tib sé tib
Let the devas’ spirit of abundance amass like billowing clouds!
ཀླུ་གཡང་རྒྱ་མཚོ་མེ་རེ་རེ། །
lu yang gyatso mé ré ré
Let the nagas’ spirit of abundance swirl like the swelling ocean!
མི་གཡང་དམུ་ཞགས་ལྡེམས་སེ་ལྡེམ། །
mi yang mu shyak dem sé dem
Let the humans’ spirit of abundance radiate with heavenly lustre!
ཉི་མ་བཞིན་དུ་ཀྱི་ལི་ལི། །
nyima shyindu kyi li li
Shining brightly like the sun,
ཟླ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་རྒ་ར་ར། །
dawa shyindu ga ra ra
Glowing vividly like the moon,
སྐར་ཚོགས་བཞིན་དུ་ལམས་སེ་ལམ། །
kar tsok shyindu lam sé lam
Sparkling lucidly like the stars,
ན་བུན་བཞིན་དུ་ཐིབས་སེ་ཐིབ། །
nabün shyindu tib sé tib
Gathering thickly like mist,
ཆུ་ཀླུང་བཞིན་དུ་འདུ་རུ་རུ། །
chulung shyindu du ru ru
Merging and flowing like a river,
སྦྲང་ཆར་བཞིན་དུ་སི་ལི་ལི། །
drang char shyindu si li li
And showering down upon us like rain!
ཁུ་ཡེ་ཁུ་ཡེ་གཡང་ཁུགས་སོ། །
khu yé khu yé yang khuk so
Khuyé khuyé! Let the spirit of abundance be summoned!
ཧུ་ཡེ་ཧུ་ཡེ་གཡང་འདུས་སོ། །
hu yé hu yé yang dü so
Huyé huyé! Let the spirit of abundance be gathered!
ཧུ་ཡེ་ཧུ་ལྡན་གཡང་ཆགས་སོ། །
hu yé huden yang chak so
Huyé huden! Let the spirit of abundance be brought forth!
ཕྱྭ་ཡི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་མེ་རེ་རེ། །
cha yi gyatso mé ré ré
An ocean of prosperity swells and churns,
གཡང་གི་དམུ་ཞགས་ཀྱི་ལི་ཡི། །
yang gi mu shyak kyi li yi
The spirit of abundance glistens and sparkles with heavenly lustre,
དཔལ་གྱི་ན་བུན་ཐིབས་སེ་ཐིབ། །
pal gyi nabün tib sé tib
And magnificence gathers and swirls like densest fog!
ཕྱྭ་འདི་རི་ལ་མ་བྲོས་ལ། །
cha di ri la ma drö la
Let not this prosperity escape into the mountains!
གཡང་འདི་སྒོ་ལ་མ་ཉམས་ཤིག །
yang di go la ma nyam shik
Let not the spirit of abundance pass beyond the threshold!
དཔལ་འདི་གཞན་དུ་མ་གཡེལ་ཅིག །
pal di shyendu ma yel chik
Let not this magnificence wander elsewhere!
ར་བར་གཡང་འཕེལ་ཕྱུགས་ཀྱིས་གང༌། །
rawar yang pel chuk kyi gang
Let the spirit of abundance increase in our enclosures, filling them with livestock!
བང་མཛོད་གཡང་འཕེལ་འབྲུ་ཡི་གང༌། །
bangdzö yang pel dru yi gang
Let the the spirit of abundance increase in our stores, filling them with grain!
ཁྱིམ་ལ་གཡང་འཕེལ་མི་ཡིས་གང༌། །
khyim la yang pel mi yi gang
Let the spirit of abundance increase in our homes, filling them with progeny!
བཅུད་ཆེན་ཟས་ཀྱི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་བསྐྱིལ། །
chü chen zé kyi gyatso kyil
Let stocks of nutritious food swell like the ocean!
གཡང་ཆེན་ནོར་གྱི་རི་བོ་སྤུངས། །
yang chen nor gyi riwo pung
Let wealth and resources pile up like mountains!
བརྗིད་ཆེན་གོས་ཀྱི་ཆར་རྒྱུན་ཕོབས། །
ji chen gö kyi char gyün pob
Let splendid clothing shower down like rain!
རྟག་ཏུ་ལྷ་དང་དཔལ་གནས་ཤིང༌། །
taktu lha dang pal né shing
With the divine and the glorious remaining forever,
སྒྱུ་མའི་བང་མཛོད་ནམ་མཁའ་མཉམ། །
gyumé bangdzö namkha nyam
And magical treasuries as vast as space itself,
འཛད་མེད་དཔལ་འབྱོར་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །
dzemé paljor ngödrub tsol
Grant us the siddhis of inexhaustible wealth!
ཕྱོགས་བཅུ་ནམ་མཁའི་མཐར་ཐུག་ནས། །
chok chu namkhé tartuk né
From every direction throughout the whole of space,
ཕྱྭ་དང་གཡང་གི་བཅུད་འདུས་ཏེ། །
cha dang yang gi chü dü té
Gather now the essence of prosperity and abundance,
བདག་དང་སྒྲུབ་པའི་རྟེན་ལ་ཐིམ། །
dak dang drubpé ten la tim
And let it be absorbed into us and the supports of our practice,
མི་ནུབ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་བཞིན་དུ་བརྟན། །
mi nub gyaltsen shyindu ten
Remaining forever stable like the banner of victory, never waning,
མི་ཤིགས་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལྟ་བུར་རྟག །
mishik dorje tabur tak
Forever present like the vajra, indestructible,
མི་འགྱུར་གཡུང་དྲུང་བཞིན་དུ་འཁྱིལ། །
mingyur yungdrung shyindu khyil
And forever immutable like the yungdrung, never changing.
ཉི་ཟླ་བཞིན་དུ་གསལ་གྱུར་ཅིག །
nyida shyindu sal gyur chik
Let this essence be as splendid as the sun and moon!
སྤྲིན་ཆེན་བཞིན་དུ་རྒྱས་གྱུར་ཅིག །
trin chen shyindu gyé gyur chik
Let it expand like vast, billowing clouds!
འབྲས་བཟང་བཞིན་དུ་འཕེལ་གྱུར་ཅིག །
dré zang shyindu pel gyur chik
And let it multiply like fine, bountiful harvests!
གང་འདོད་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་ཡི། །
gang dö pünsum tsokpa yi
Perfectly bestowing whatever we desire,
ཕྱྭ་དང་གཡང་གི་དངོས་གྲུབ་རྒྱས། །
cha dang yang gi ngödrub gyé
Let the attainments of prosperity and abundance unfold!
ཡིད་བཞིན་ནོར་བུ་དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང༌། །
yishyin norbu paksam shing
Like a wish-granting jewel, a wish-fulfilling tree,
གཏེར་གྱི་བུམ་པ་བཟང་པོ་བཞིན། །
ter gyi bumpa zangpo shyin
Or an excellent vase of treasure,
ཅི་བསམ་ལྷུན་གྱིས་འགྲུབ་པ་ཡི། །
chi sam lhün gyi drubpa yi
Let all that we wish for be spontaneously accomplished—
བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས་དེང་འདིར་སྩོལ། །
tashi delek deng dir tsol
Grant us, here and now, this auspiciousness, happiness and wellbeing!
ཚིག་རྐང་བདུན་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་པ། །བརྒྱ་རྩ་བརྒྱད་དུ་བཏོན་བགྱིས་ན། །དེ་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཕྱྭ་དང་གཡང༌། །ཁུག་པའི་དགེ་མཚན་མངོན་སུམ་མཐོང༌། །
Should you recite these seventy-two lines a hundred and eight times, positive signs of summoning the spirit of abundance and prosperity will appear immediately.
རབ་ཚེས་མེ་སྤྲེལ་ཟླ་ལྔ་ཚེས་ཉེར་ལྔ་ལ། །འཆི་མེད་མཆོག་སྒྲུབ་གླིང་དུ་ནི། །འཇམ་དཔལ་དགྱེས་པ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཡིས། །ཡིད་ཀྱི་མཚོ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་དཔལ། །
On the 25th day of the fifth month of the Fire Monkey year (1896), in Chimé Chokdrup Ling, this arose in the lake-like mind of Jampal Gyépé Dorje.
ས་མ་ཡཱ། རྒྱ། ཨི་ཐིཿ
Samaya! Gya! Ithi!
